The first time we visited the mountains of North Georgia we fell in love and looked for a way to make it our home away from home. North Georgia offers an abundance of locations to enjoy the best of the beautiful outdoors.

We have been blessed with two boys who love nature, camping, kayaking, biking and hiking. This is why we love North Georgia. Besides being a short drive to Atlanta, GA, Chattanooga, TN and Franklin, NC the cool summers and moderate winters allow you to be outdoors all year long.

Just minutes outside of Big Canoe you will find lush gardens, wineries, antiquing, boating, fishing, rafting, hunting, hiking and the start of the Appalachian Trail. Take time to see what Big Canoe and North Georgia have to offer. You’ll find yourself wanting more.
